Manifesto: “Rules Of My Life”

I like to write about what makes me think about my behaviors. These are my rules, not all of em yet. I try to complete this post over time.

- Life is a journey, not a moment. To experience it fully, you need to remain present and mindful of every moment.

- Some strategies work universally. Use them, adapt them to your needs, and at the time of their dysfunction, try to create your own rules. It is important to apply proven methods (or at least experimenting with them) because time is limited.

- A chain of good habits is what makes a difference between “Key figures” and you. Write your own rules through experience. Then this is what we’ll happen: Every time you want to start, you start and continue smoothly, because you have a set of habits and you don’t need to contemplate on what you want to do.

- If you neglect exercise, life may also neglect you.

- Forgiveness is essential for cultivating a calm mind.

- Practice meditation. It is simply an exercise in focusing on yourself rather than your external environment.

- Instead of prioritizing your body’s needs, focus on your mind, heart, and perception first. Filter what you think about and what you watch. Without this, you risk facing severe consequences such as stress and varying levels of distraction.

- If you need to start something, just start. Everything will eventually come together for you—or, in the worst-case scenario, you will figure out how to make it work. You just need a few good starts to make yourself believe your “self”.

- Strive to control your emotions, but this does not mean suppressing them. On the contrary, acknowledge your feelings and empathize with yourself. If you do understand yourself, your mind and body will accompany you much easier. Because they try to understand you back.

- Pain is unavoidable. Don’t try to shut it down. The more you do, the more it will become a bad habit.

- There is no such thing as “meant to be.” You are the one who determines your path. Although the degree to which change manifests varies from person to person, the power of choice remains constant.

- Good friends are the cornerstone of a good life.

- Resistance and resilience are the key factors of change. If you apply them to your life, they will become your superpowers.

- Do not underestimate the transformative impact of daily reading.

- How you pass your time, it will become a habit. Make your choices conscious and analyse them carefully. As much as “good habits” can be helpful, bad habits can be intoxicated too.

- The easiest way to awaken your mind is by walking. (If you add a cold shower and journaling to it, that can be a guaranteed formula for success.)

- Change your environment every three days. Avoid using the same space, body posture, or reading approach for too long, as it may lead to unconscious habits

- If you’re worried about the distraction, Turn on the “focus mode” in your Device.

- Don’t use movies and social media as a way of shutting down your thoughts and feelings.

- Every time you need to make a decision, ask yourself the degree of necessity and importance of that task.

- Try to get to an acceptance of life with  its all goods and bads.

- Put to work what you’ve learned. If you do, you will remember it longer.

- Do not wait for the perfect time, make good use of any time you find.

- What you eat and drink has an impact on your body and mind. Consider the volume of the effect, before the consumption.

- Every time you need to make a decision, ask yourself what your future self would think of the choice.

- Establishing (defining) consistent rules for your life functions as a personal brand, making your personality easier to understand.

- Push yourself out of your comfort zone and try new things.

- Reading stories and novels is one of the easiest ways to expand your mind and deepen your comprehension of the world around you.

- As long as you have not clearly understood what you want from an relationship, it may be risky to get involved in one. (Otherwise, it is unlikely to last.)

- The only way to determine what you truly believe is by testing your presuppositions.

- Writing precedes thinking. The more you write, the more you will bring your unconscious thoughts to the surface, allowing you to better understand your behaviors and words.

- Listening to an informative podcast is often more productive than watching a movie. (If you choose the right one.) Why? Because it helps you refocus your attention, whereas movies often distract.

- Aggression is like a cycle. It rolls everywhere before you know it. So don’t let it in.

- A tool is your helper, but it isn’t everything.

- Nothing is as worthwhile as sleep for rest. Nothing compares to a good sleep.

-
